This is #51 of a series in which I read correspondence between me and people who have questions, comments, or–more often–misconceptions about asexuality. This time I address an asexual person’s comment on having their asexuality erased because they’re in a same-gender relationship, leading to others suggesting this constitutes finally coming out. But being in a same-gender relationship doesn’t mean you are no longer ace, nor does it mean you were concealing your orientation before. I discuss this at length and then also give you a tour of my house.
